Our Client
A well-established regional financial institution is seeking an experienced Controller to lead their accounting and financial reporting function.
The Opportunity
Lead a team of 5-6 accounting professionals while overseeing all financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the annual audit process. This is a critical role reporting directly to the CFO with high visibility to executive leadership.
What We're Looking For
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA designation required
Master's degree in accounting/finance or MBA desired
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with at least 7 years in an accounting management role
At least 5 years of bank accounting experience required
Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements
Advanced Excel skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team development abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
