Back Group Controller
Controller Georgetown , Massachusetts Perm Sep 3, 2026 $ - $
Our confidential client is a manufacturing company with significant operations across the Northeast. The organization has multiple business divisions and manufacturing facilities serving customers across industrial, technology, aerospace, defense, and related markets.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for overseeing corporate accounting and financial operations across multiple locations, while partnering closely with executive leadership and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all corporate accounting and financial reporting activities across multiple manufacturing sites
Oversee monthly and year-end close, financial statements, and reporting
Own budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting
Partner with divisional and plant leadership to improve financial performance
Support operational decision-making through meaningful financial analysis
Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and reporting
Lead and develop accounting/finance team members
Support audits, tax, compliance, and other corporate finance initiatives
Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership
Qualifications
CPA required
Strong multi-site manufacturing accounting and finance experience
Proven experience overseeing accounting and financial operations across multiple locations
Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
Excellent Excel skills and strong overall systems aptitude
Experience with a manufacturing ERP system; Infor/Syteline experience is a plus
Strong communication and business-partnering skills
Ability to work effectively with both corporate and plant-level leadership
Willingness to travel periodically to manufacturing locations in New England
Compensation: $200,000-$220,000 plus bonus
