As we create a colorful, capable and cleaner world through chemistry, we invite you to join our team to harness the power of chemistry to shape markets, redefine industries and improve lives for billions of people around the world.External Reporting:• E nsure accurate, complete, and timely external financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and other relevant standardsTechnical Accounting and Policy:• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and timely updates are evaluated and implemented as necessary to address new accounting standards and regulations• Actively lead and be hands-on driving special projects such as acquisitions / dispositions, complex accounting and financial reporting issues or transactionsGlobal Close and Consolidations:• Ensure accurate and timely monthly global close, consolidation and internal reporting exists, supported by a high-performing global consolidation systemLeadership and Strategic Partnership:• Represent the Controllership organization cross-functionally to drive adherence with accounting and reporting requirements, high level of interaction and collaboration with other teams including Tax, Treasury, IR, FPA, Businesses, Operations, Sites, Human Resources, IT, Legal, etc.• Provide active management and supervision to the Corporate Controllership teams with a focus on coaching and developing talent in the group• Prepare a nd present financial reports and analysis to senior management and the Audit Committee, provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.In our pursuit to be the greatest place to work, we know that a critical element to enhancing our employee experience is to assure we’re operating with a solid foundation of trust. Factors considered in extending a compensation offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, and alignment with market data.
