Corporate Engineer – Food Manufacturing

This role focuses on standardization, reliability strategy, and capital planning—not day-to-day plant maintenance. Partner with plant engineering and operations leaders to improve equipment reliability, throughput, safety, and long-term asset performance.
This Position
This is a unique opportunity to shape engineering strategy and influence long-term capital and reliability initiatives. You will work at the corporate level, driving standardization, mentoring plant engineers, and making a measurable impact on production efficiency, equipment performance, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Establish corporate engineering standards and best practices across sites
Serve as enterprise SME for equipment, utilities, and automation
Lead cross-site reliability initiatives and root cause analysis
Standardize PM/PdM programs and CMMS governance
Support capital planning and execution (new lines, automation, upgrades)
Review equipment specifications, layouts, and engineering designs
Coach plant engineering leaders and maintenance management
Partner with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain leadership
Must-Have Requirements
5+ years manufacturing engineering, reliability, or maintenance experience
Food manufacturing experience
Multi-site or corporate engineering influence
Strong PLC troubleshooting xzgxqkn experience
Proven experience with PM/PdM programs and reliability strategy
Experience supporting capital projects and equipment specifications
Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Highly Preferred
Bachelor of Science Degree
Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLCs
Corporate or regional engineering role
Union manufacturing environment exposure
Lean, Six Sigma, or reliability training
