Overview
Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate to join a leading law firm in Dallas. This role offers hands-on experience working on complex financing transactions with lenders, borrowers, and private equity clients.
Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate credit agreements, term sheets, and financing documents
Work on syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and private credit deals
Support deal execution, closings, and transaction management
Collaborate with clients, including lenders, sponsors, and portfolio companies
Qualifications 2-4 years of corporate finance experience
Experience with credit facilities and financing transactions
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Team-oriented with strong academic credentials
Texas Bar admission preferred (or admission to another state bar required)
