Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience focusing on M&A and private equity transactions, with a strong understanding of acquisition agreements and related documentation.
Duties
Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related documents.
Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.
Manage internal and external client relationships effectively.
Collaborate on middle-market deal structures.
Requirements
2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in the office at least three days per week.
Education
JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the jurisdiction of the hiring office.
Skills
Proficiency in drafting and negotiating M&A and private equity documents.
Strong business sense and maturity.
