A law firm seeks a mid-level/senior associate to join its Corporate M&A group in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have a background in M&A and general transactional work, with a desire to focus on full-time M&A practice. The role involves collaboration with the general corporate group in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Collaborate with the general corporate group on M&A transactions.
Engage with emerging growth companies and funds.
Participate in private equity transactions.
Requirements
Previous large law firm experience required.
Admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of New York or California.
Demonstrated experience in M&A and/or private equity transactions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Admitted to the State Bar of New York or California.
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
