Corporate RecruiterWhitehouse Station, NJ Duration: 6 months (Contract to Hire)Our team is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to deliver hiring support for a variety of insurance roles. The Client Talent Acquisition operating model offers a fully in-sourced hiring capability, responsible for effectively identifying talent, facilitating an efficient interview and selection process and delivering a positive hiring experience to hiring leadership and candidates (internal and external). The successful candidate will be a solution-oriented critical thinker who is proactive and responsive, has passion for excellence and willing to roll up his/her sleeves.Responsibilities include:Utilize Taleo, our applicant tracking system, to ensure effective recruiting workflow while meeting necessary employment requirements; ensure candidate and requisition status information is properly maintained for reporting purposesManaging the applicant pipeline for assigned requisitions; including reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screens to pre-qualify potential candidates and cold calling candidates to request the information of qualified candidates who might be interested in ClientUse tools and resources to effectively research and source candidates for open rolesPrepare candidate slates to present to hiring managersSchedule interviews between candidates and interviewers, as neededAssist other recruiters with sourcing and interview scheduling as neededQualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience3+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting for a large firm or agency; experience with the insurance industry a plusAbility to work in a high volume, fast paced environment requiredKnowledge of key recruiting and recruiting research craft skillsAbility to operate within a matrix, geographically dispersed organizationDemonstrated good communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to interview and assess appropriate potential hiresGood organizational skillsSome knowledge of industry and technology trends, compensation and benefitsAbility to effectively work with other people and be collaborative and diplomaticNegotiating skillsProficient in office systems (MS Office Suite, applicant tracking systems); Taleo experience is a plusClient is a major player in the insurance and financial services arena. We seek an individual with strong expertise to join us as a Corporate Recruiter. This role, a blend of tactical execution coupled with human capital strategy, allows the selected applicant exposure to key areas of talent acquisition.
