Job description
Arrow Security is hiring experienced Corporate Security Officers to join our team at a high-profile financial services location in Jersey City, NJ.
This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional who takes pride in providing a professional, polished, and highly attentive presence in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an environment where confidentiality, access control, and strict security procedures are essential.
What You'll Do
Control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors
Verify credentials before permitting access to restricted areas
Monitor entrances, exits, and controlled areas
Conduct security patrols and inspections
Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
Monitor the authorized movement of sensitive materials
Identify and immediately report suspicious or unauthorized activity
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and access-control issues
Follow all post orders, security procedures, and confidentiality requirements
Maintain a professional and attentive presence throughout the entire shift
What We're Looking For
3+ years of professional security experience
Valid New Jersey SORA license
Previous corporate or professional security experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to write clear, accurate, and detailed security reports
Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Reliable transportation to Jersey City
Ability to follow detailed security procedures and post orders
Ability to successfully complete all required company and client screening requirements
Weekend availability is required
Professional Appearance & Demeanor
This is a high-profile corporate security assignment, and officers are expected to maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
You will regularly interact with employees, executives, visitors, vendors, and contractors, so strong customer service and professionalism are essential.
