Senior Accountant
Hybrid role | Cleveland, OH
If you're 2-3 years into your public accounting career and starting to feel like you're just checking boxes each month... this might be worth a conversation.
We're partnering with a publicly traded, global manufacturing company looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to leadership, a strong mentorship environment, and a clear path for growth.
What you'll be doing:
Own pieces of the month-end close and financial reporting process (monthly, quarterly, annual)
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support the general ledger
Work within a SOX-regulated environment and assist with audits and internal controls
Partner with finance and operations on budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally on projects tied to manufacturing and operations
Help identify process improvements and ways to make things run smoother
What they're looking for: 2-3 years of public accounting experience
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA or pursuing is a plus)
Exposure to month-end close and general ledger work
Strong understanding of GAAP
Detail-oriented, but able to think beyond just the numbers
Nice to have: Manufacturing experience
SAP, OneStream, or similar systems
Experience in a public / SOX environment
