Correctional OfficerThe Clay County Sheriff's Department is accepting applications to be considered for open positions as a Full-Time and Variable Hour (Part-Time) Correctional Officer.Application Deadline: Open until filledStatus: Non-ExemptShifts: Full-time Correctional staff have day and night shifts 7:00-7:00 that rotate every 4 months. Variable Hour (Part-Time) shifts and hours vary each week. Variable Hour positions will average less than 19 hours per week.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diplomaAt least 18 years of ageMust possess a valid driver's license.Must successfully complete a background investigation and agility test.To be considered for the position, submit these materialsClay County Application must be submitted for all County positions.If you are an eligible military veteran and wish to claim Veteran's Preference, you must present a legible photocopy of your DD214 form to the Office of Human Resources.
