nThe Cost Accountant position will manage the accounting and prepare reconciliations for toll vendor inventory, prepare multiple journal entries during the month-end close process, and perform or assist with other critical functions and analyses involving inventory accounting.
nThis position is located in Alpharetta, GA, and requires on-site daily attendance.
nResponsibilities

nnnReconcile and manage accounting for Stryten inventory at select toll vendors and other third-party locations.
n
nnReconcile GL balances and activity to toll vendor statements monthly.
n
nnReconcile transactions between Element Resources and Stryten Energy monthly.
n
nnMonitor key General Ledger accounts daily for problems with shipping and receiving.
n
nnPrepare journal entries timely and accurately during the month-end close process.
n
nnAssist with clearing toll vendor in-transit accounts monthly as needed.
n
nnAssist with the annual Physical Inventory as needed.
n
nnAdditional responsibilities as needed to support the team and company goals.

n nQualifications
nEducation, Experience
nnnBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
n
nnJDE experience is a plus.
n
n nSkills, Abilities, Knowledge
nnnStrong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
n
nnStrong PC and analytical skills. (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP in Excel.)
n
nnDetail-oriented.
n
nnAbility to work independently.
n
n nEnvironment
nnThis position is performed in a professional office environment and requires regular onsite attendance. Employees primarily work at a desk using a computer and other standard office equipment.
n nPhysical Demands
nnWhile performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to communicate, remain in a stationary position for extended periods, and operate standard office equipment. Occasional movement throughout the office may be required.
