nPosition Description
nWe are hiring a Cost Accountant. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Manufacturing Organization and the Finance & Accounting Department in compiling, analyzing, improving and developing conclusions and actionable plans on all matters relating to our standard cost system, including investigating variances and identifying process improvement opportunities through a team focused problem solving process.

nJob Description
nResponsibilities:
nnnFollow, design and/or implement cost accounting
n
nnEnsure the continuous cycle count process is performed, completed and recorded in SAP.
n
nnAssist in the annual physical inventory
n
nnAssist in the annual cost roll-up for all sites. Produce certain cost-related schedules, review external inputs and analyze results
n
nnAssist the preparation of JE’s for month-end, QTR and YE
n
nnAssist in the preparation of monthly allocations (facilities & QC, & EMS miscellaneous costs).
n
nnAssist in the preparation of monthly reclassification of R&D inventory usage & no-charge samples to customers.
n
nnReview all raw material, freight-in & freight-out AP
n
nnAssist with costing recipes.
n
nnProviding costing data as needed by corporate auditing firm and parent
n
nnContinuous improvement in SAP knowledge, with the goal of becoming a super-user.
n
n nRequired Skills/Education:
nnnBachelor Degree in Accounting or related degree
n
nn3+ years of standard cost experience in a manufacturing environment
n
nnAn in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices anddeep knowledge of cost accounting and standard costing.
n
nnSAP experience Required
n
nnHighly proficient computer skills and strong Excel skills.
n
nnFluent in English
n
n nSalary and Benefits:
nnnFor California, the base salary range for this position is $71,600 - $92,900. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
