Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Home Health
Greene County, Ohio and surrounding areas Employment Type: Part-Time PRN
Help Patients Thrive at Home We are looking for a compassionate and dependable COTA to join our home health team. Working under the supervision of a licensed OT, you'll provide individualized therapy services that help patients improve their independence, safety, and quality of life in their home. Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the established plan of care under the direction of a licensed OT
Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and functional mobility
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and the safe use of equipment
Observes, documents and reports patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising OT
Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
Current Ohio COTA license
Current CPR and/or BLS certification
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Home health experience is preferred but not required
