nHands Plus Physical Therapy is looking for a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team in Santa Clarita, CA! nResponsibilities:

nImplement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)

nProvide direct patient care focused on improving daily living skills, fine motor function, and upper extremity rehabilitation

nDocument patient progress, treatment notes, and goal updates accurately and in a timely manner

nCollaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary team to adjust and progress patient care plans

nEducate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive strategies

nMaintain a safe, organized, and welcoming therapy environment

nParticipate in team meetings, continuing education, and clinic initiatives

nRequirements:

nActive COTA licensure in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain)

nGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

nCurrent NBCOT certification in good standing

nExperience in an outpatient orthopedic or hand therapy setting is a plus

nStrong documentation and communication skills

nCompassionate, patient-centered approach to care

nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented clinic environment

nMinimum 2 years' experience
