Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantWe're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Havana, IL. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Apply today and a recruiter will reach out with details.Minimum RequirementsAssociate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.Active Illinois COTA license required to start the assignment.BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.Experience with restorative programs, ADL training, and use of common adaptive equipment preferred.Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and document patient care according to facility policies.Willingness to participate in a split assignment and float between nearby facilities in the local area as needed (split between facilities in Havana, IL and Cuba, IL).Assignment DetailsFacility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.Shift Name: Days.Shift Details: Days .Schedule: 5x8.Assignment Length: 13 weeks.Start: ASAP.Location HighlightsHavana, IL offers access to outdoor recreation and small-town amenities within short drives.
