Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantWe're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Plainfield, NJ. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. If you are ready to make a real difference, apply today and a recruiter will reach out with details.Minimum RequirementsAssociate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.Active New Jersey COTA license required to start the assignment.BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.Ability to follow treatment plans developed by supervising OTR and document patient progress according to facility policy.Client requirement: scheduled to work a 5x8 day pattern with typical hours of 08:30–16:30 and a 30-minute meal period.Client preference: experience with geriatric populations and common SNF equipment such as adaptive seating, orthotic devices, and ADL training tools preferred.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.Shift: Days.Shift hours: 08:30–16:30.Work pattern: 5x8.Guaranteed hours note: scheduled 40 hours; guaranteed 36 hours per client guidance.Location HighlightsPlainfield, NJ offers convenient access to regional recreation and transit options.
