nPosition Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Addiction Counselor to join our team at our Emlenton location. In this role, you will provide clinical support to individuals in early recovery, facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions, developing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help each client build a path to long-term recovery. We are offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus that will be available after the first 90 days of employment.
nKey Responsibilities:
nConduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and formulate diagnostic impressions
nDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
nFacilitate evidence-based group and individual therapy sessions
nEducate and support families as part of the treatment process
nMaintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
nParticipate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement efforts
nQualifications:
nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
nCertification or licensure in Pennsylvania preferred (LPC, LCSW, CAADC, etc.)
nMinimum 1 year of experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health
nWorking knowledge of addiction theory, trauma-informed care, and recovery models
nStrong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
