Description Counselor Location: Delaware Valley Job Corps, Callicoon, NY $62,353 per year | Full-Time | Mon, Thurs & Fri 11am-8pm, Tuesday & Wed 8:00am - 5:00pm, Sat & Sun on call/off Be the Difference in Someone' s Future At Delaware Valley Job Corps, you're not just doing a job - you're guiding young people (ages 16-24) toward independence, stability, and career success. Who are we? Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We are a Center which uses student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve.
What You'll Do
Provide personal, educational, and career counseling to students
Build strong, supportive relationships that encourage student success
Help students overcome barriers and stay on track in the program
Develop and manage individualized career and development plans
Monitor student progress and document outcomes
Coordinate services and support across departments
Step in to support leadership when needed

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required (including 15 credits in social services-related coursework)
At least 1 year of counseling or related experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage caseloads and stay organized
Valid driver's license required
