The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia (Roxborough area) offers an unmatched opportunity, in the field of eating disorders, for a Counselor looking to change lives. Position Responsibilities:
Facilitates group discussions, community meetings and other therapeutic groups.
Provides 1:1 contact, individual support and crisis intervention as directed or needed.
Monitors mealtime and documents meal compliance.
Facilitates the after-meal support group.
Attends required meetings and completes all required documentation.
Education, Competencies and Credentials:
Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology or similar major
Experience with eating disorders and/or substance abuse strongly preferred or 5 years direct patient care experience.
Hours: 40 hours a Week, Evenings and Weekends
