Job description
The Counselor Tech plays a vital role in the residential treatment facility by providing direct support to the clinical team and contributing to the overall well-being of our clients. This position involves a combination of administrative tasks and client assistance.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities
nnMonitor facility for safety and security ensuring client's are following program rules and expectations
nDe-escalate situations and crisis as needed
nUtilize motivational interviewing to encourage clients to remain in treatment and engage in services
nDocument interactions and incidents as requested
n nMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
nnCPR/First Aid certified
nAbility to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team.
