Counter Sales & Warehouse AssociateAre you someone who enjoys helping customers, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and knows how to keep things running smoothly behind the counter? We're looking for a Counter Sales & Warehouse Associate who is energized by customer interaction and enjoys working hands-on with products and solutions. This role is primarily counter sales-focused, supporting our walk-in customers with product inquiries, order pickups, and quotes. While you'll also pitch in with warehouse operations when needed, this position is ideal for someone who is at their best working face-to-face with customers and building positive relationships.Royal Durham Supply, a Style Crest company, has been a leading distributor of high-quality products for the manufactured housing industry since 1964. At Royal Durham Supply, our focus is simple: ensuring customer satisfaction by prioritizing our customers in everything we do.ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service at the counter—answering product questions, preparing quotes, and finalizing sales.Accurately pull and stage orders for customer pickup, ensuring timely and professional service.Assist customers in safely loading products into their vehicles.Collaborate with the sales team to support promotional efforts, upsell opportunities, and service needs.Maintain product knowledge to help guide customers to the right solutions.Receive and verify inbound shipments and process inventory into the system.Support store-level purchasing by placing orders with local vendors as directed.Ensure all counter displays are organized, clean, and up to date with current product offerings.Participate in regular cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.Complete order transfers between store locations as needed.Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move product (training provided).Maintain clean, safe, and organized counter and warehouse areas.Support warehouse functions such as picking, packing, and stocking during peak times.Assist with store operations and special projects as directed by the store manager.Communicate professionally via phone and email with internal teams and customers.Occasionally drive a company vehicle to pick up materials from vendors or other store locations.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Prior sales or customer service experience preferred.Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.Ability to learn and use point-of-sale and inventory systems (basic computer skills required).Willingness to support physical aspects of the role, including lifting and moving materials.Team-player mindset, able to jump in and help wherever needed.Reliable, organized, and able to multi-task in a busy environment.Must have a valid driver license and satisfactory MVR driving history.BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Vacation & Personal TimeShort Term & Long Term Disability401K with Company MatchPaid holidaysRoyal Durham Supply, a Style Crest company, is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
