Job Description

The Red Gate Group is seeking a highly skilled Counter-Unmanned Systems (C-UXS) Policy Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict (ASD SOLIC) in Arlington, VA. The mission of the Office of the ASD SOLIC is to conduct oversight of all DoD policies and plans related to special operations, with special emphasis on counterterrorism, information operations, irregular warfare, sensitive special operations, counter unmanned systems, and other activities as specified by the Secretary of Defense.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop agendas, draft read-ahead materials, and summarize key meetings, including those at the 4-star and Under Secretary levels, to shape and guide global C-UXS campaigns.

Review and coordinate the development of irregular warfare concepts with senior DoD and interagency stakeholders, addressing policy and resource implications.

Integrate C-UXS plans with broader DoD and interagency initiatives, preparing essential documentation for senior leadership forums.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence critical defense strategies and contribute to national security efforts against unmanned systems threats.
