Coventry Direct Care Worker Companions Caregivers ILST (Life Skills Training)An amazing opportunity to be a part of something much greater than ourselves, helping people become the best version of themselves.You will be helping clients that are recovering from brain injuries. These clients live alone or with family. You will be helping the client with every aspect of regular life. You and the client will schedule and attend medical and therapeutic appointments then implement recovery activities within the home community. You will document on a daily basis and communicate with many people. Many clients have impulsive behaviors and memory challenges, team members understand that this is part of the recovery process and support the needs of the client they serve.Requirements:High-school diploma or equivalentOne / Two years of health care experienceSuper time management and organizational skillsSmart-Phone and Tablet SkillsPre-employment Background Checks and Drug ScreeningExperience helping people recovering from: Strokes, Concussions and/or brain injuryWorked within community settingsTeam members support clients with: Safety Organization skills Medical and therapeutic rehab homework.
