Job description

Coworking Community & Operations Manager

Kreate Hub | Bronx, NY | Full-time, on-site

Base salary: $70,000-$80,000 per year

Performance bonus: Up to $10,000 annually, based on achievement of established performance goals

Vacation: Two weeks annually

Reports to: CEO

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work is required for operational needs, scheduled events, and urgent building matters.

Target start date: November 1, 2026

The opportunity

Kreate Hub provides workspace for artists, makers, and creative businesses. We are seeking an experienced manager to take ownership of our Bronx location: maintain high occupancy, convert inquiries into memberships, retain members, manage collections, and keep the building running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role combining sales, hospitality, and property operations. You will lead tours, resolve member concerns, coordinate vendors, and follow through on daily priorities while reporting directly to the CEO.

What you will do

- Maintain high occupancy: Respond promptly to leads, conduct tours, follow up consistently, complete membership agreements, and plan ahead for renewals and vacancies. Keep an accurate sales pipeline and track conversion results.

- Retain and onboard members: Review member applications under company policies, coordinate agreements, move-ins and access setup, and explain building rules. Check in regularly, resolve concerns, and apply membership and billing policies consistently.

- Own daily building operations: Conduct routine inspections, coordinate maintenance and vendors, manage supplies and move-outs, and verify that repairs are completed. Maintain access records, document incidents, and escalate urgent safety or security matters.

- Manage collections and expenses: Monitor receivables, follow up on overdue balances, maintain accurate payment records, and control expenses within approved budgets and authority.

- Coordinate people and community: Set priorities for assigned staff and contractors, coach staff where applicable, and organize approved events, partnerships, and outreach that support member engagement and leasing.

- Report results: Give the CEO concise weekly updates on occupancy, leads and tours, conversions, renewals, collections, and unresolved operational issues, with clear next actions.

What you bring

- At least four years of experience in coworking or hospitality.

- Experience taking responsibility for daily site or department operations, customer service, and sales or retention results.

- Concrete examples of improving or maintaining occupancy, converting prospects, increasing repeat business, or retaining members or guests.

- Practical experience with vendor coordination, payment follow-up, and resolving customer or building issues.

- Clear communication, accurate records, sound judgment, and reliable follow-through.

- Proficiency with CRM, property-management, or comparable business systems.

Experience with creative communities, studio leasing, or event programming is preferred.
