Our client, a leader in the automotive and transportation industry, is seeking a Craftsmanship Engineer to join their team. As a Craftsmanship Engineer, you will be part of the Vehicle Development department supporting Geometric Integration & Packaging teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for quality and innovation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $90/hour + Benefits
What's the Job?
Lead cross-functional activities to embed craftsmanship requirements as a proactive driver in product development from early phases. Collaborate with design, dimensional engineering, product development, manufacturing, supplier quality, and HMI teams to define vehicle-level craftsmanship targets. Develop documentation for defining and tracking craftsmanship targets, measurement tools, and artifacts. Participate in development of Grey-Zone, Cabin scent, Ambient Lighting, NVH targets, Active Sounds, and Color & Trim Development. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate brand perception and user trust throughout the product lifecycle. What's Needed?
Minimum of 10 years of Craftsmanship Engineering experience in automotive or transport industry. At least 5 years of experience chairing forums and navigating key decisions in the industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s degree in Product Design or Engineering discipline; Master’s degree preferred. Extensive knowledge of visual, tactile, olfactory, auditory, and functional quality standards. What's in it for me?
