Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for a role, CRE Debt Origination Capital Markets Leader.
A high-growth, entrepreneurial real estate services platform is seeking a senior executive to lead and scale its capital markets business nationally.
This is a rare opportunity for a proven builder to take the reins of an established and expanding debt platform with strong existing momentum, meaningful internal deal flow, and substantial runway for growth. The role offers the chance to shape strategy, recruit top talent, deepen capital relationships, and build a highly differentiated business inside a broader national platform.
The ideal candidate is equal parts producer, recruiter, operator, and leader — someone who knows how to grow revenue, attract high-end talent, improve execution standards, and create a performance-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic growth of a national capital markets platform
Increase internal capture and cross-platform collaboration
Recruit, develop, and retain senior and junior originators
Expand and strengthen lender and capital provider relationships
Drive best-in-class execution, underwriting, and deal packaging standards
Build infrastructure, accountability, and operating discipline to support scale
Partner closely with executive leadership on growth, performance, and long-term platform development
Ideal Candidate Profile
Significant experience in debt origination and capital markets leadership
Track record of building or materially scaling a producer-driven platformProven success recruiting high-performing originators and team leaders
Deep relationships across banks, life companies, agencies, debt funds, and other institutional capital sources
Strong commercial instincts, operating discipline, and leadership credibility
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to build something meaningful over time
