Credentialed Veterinary Technician - CVT or LVT - Andover Animal HospitalAndover Animal Hospital is actively seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly skilled full-time Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or experienced technician to join and support our thriving, well-established 9-Doctor veterinary practice.Andover Animal Hospital is a premier provider of comprehensive veterinary services in the Anoka County area. When you join our team, you become part of a professional family that embraces our entire team, our valued clients, and their cherished pets.Key Responsibilities (Specific to the Technician Role):Surgical preparation, monitoring, and recoveryAnesthesia induction and maintenanceAdministering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinariansPerforming dental prophylaxis, charting, and radiographsPhlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and laboratory sample processingCollecting and analyzing diagnostic samples (e.g., cytology, urinalysis)Providing compassionate patient nursing care and pain managementEducating clients on pet health, post-operative care, and preventative medicineAccurate medical record keepingWhat We Offer:We are committed to the well-being and professional growth of our team members.
