The Credit Investigator position is responsible for acting as a liaison between the client, consumer, and Equifax by resolving customers' requests. Individual contributors with complete investigations and issue updated or corrected reports to clients. To do this, you will use various methods of investigation including telephone interviews, email contacts, web-based research, faxing contacts, and researching data repositories such as FACT and eOSCAR.What you'll doYou will perform credit-based research tasks ranging from the navigation of automated systems, conducting online research, and performing conference calls between consumers and creditorsUtilize experience and expertise to provide insights to operations leadershipOperate a diverse range of tasks, moving between processes with the mentorship of managementPerform clerical, phone, operational or manual workValidate/complete and document requested data through phone, fax or email contactPerform document review and auditIdentify and troubleshoot issues within own scope of workAccept stretch assignments provided by managementIn office Monday - Friday 10:30a - 7pThe hourly rate is $20.00What experience you needHigh school diploma, or equivalentWhat could set you apartCall center experience preferredComputer skillsAbility to multitask and work independentlyCredit Experience/knowledge preferredAble to problem solveAble to communicate effectivelyWe offer comprehensive compensation and healthcare packages, 401k matching, paid time off, and organizational growth potential through our online learning platform with guided career tracks.Are you ready to power your possible?
