nSalary Range: $10.00 To $14.00 Hourly

Responsibilities:

nnCooks are directly responsible for creating a great guest experience by consistently serving quality food in a timely manner

nYou will receive and stock inventory, prepare, cook and assemble orders, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and maintain food safety and quality standards by following standard operating procedures

nMaintain awareness of current promotions

nEnthusiastically represent the Zaxby's brand

nAssist with guest service and front of house operations

nPrepare menu items according to company standards and in a safe and sanitary manner

nEnsure food and beverages are handled according to safety regulations and guidelines

nSafely operate food preparation and cooking equipment

nMaintain product levels in assigned stations in order to be prepared for immediate needs

nPrepare and cook food items according to company standards

nAccurately assemble and package guest orders

nMaintain a clean and safe working environment

nKeep work areas clean and organized

nMaintain equipment and inform management of maintenance needs

nAssist with inventory and storage management

nReceive and stock incoming inventory deliveries

nHold and store food items following food safety guidelines

nInform management when inventory is needed

nClean and organize storage areas

n n Other responsibilities:

nnComplete all tasks with a sense of urgency, in a timely manner

nWork safely and follow all safety guidelines and procedures

nOther duties as assigned

n nQualifications:

nnMust be 16 years of age or older

nAbility to work 32 to 40 hours per week

nSit, stand, and walk continuously

nOccasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of ladders

nFrequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead

nContinuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation

nCommunicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing

nMaintain effective audio-visual perception and judgement to observe and respond to the environment

nWork in an environment that features hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens

nOperate and work safely with restaurant equipment including, but not limited to, knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment
