Job TitlePosition at Ruppert Landscape MaintenanceRuppert Landscape is a privately held, family/employee owned, commercial landscape maintenance and construction company based in Laytonsville, MD. With a multi-state presence and a small company feel, our mission is to provide opportunities for our people, take care of our customers, and be good stewards of the environment and our community. We are hiring for Enhancement Crew Members to join our Johns Island Maintenance team.Pay Range: $15 - 20/hour, depending on experience.Responsibilities:Perform any general enhancement and landscape duties on site as directed by onsite Field ManagersThe installation of landscape materials (trees, shrubs, perennials, landscape lighting, irrigation)The company self performs many other stilled tasks including pavers, concrete flat work, retaining walls and other site amenities like outdoor kitchens, decks, fire and water features, and full landscape planting packagesOperate various hand and power tools to perform functions such as grading, installation and mulchingUtilize a variety of equipment, but not limited to bed edgers, sod cutters, rototillers, tractors, skid steers, excavators, and various walk behind equipment equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators to dig, grade, install site drainage, etc.Work safely in a team environment and follow applicable guidelinesMaintain a clean and professional appearancePerform other various duties assignedQualifications:Must be energetic, hardworking, and dependableMust be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditionsRoutinely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPrior landscape experience is preferred but not requiredValid drivers license preferredWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly wagesOn the job trainingPaid Time offMedical benefits with dental and vision401(k) planFlexible work/life balanceFamily-oriented company cultureYear-round opportunities for employmentRuppert Landscape is an Equal Opportunity and E-verify Employer
