We're partnering with a growing Phoenix-based criminal defense firm seeking a motivated, compassionate attorney to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Arizona attorney who has gained criminal defense experience through practice, clerkships, public defender work, or legal clinics and is ready to take the next step.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

Work-life balance: A sustainable, approximately 40-hour workweek

Remote flexibility: Work from home except for local Maricopa County court appearances

No billable hours: Focus on your clients, not tracking every minute

No business development: No pressure to generate clients or build a book of business

Meaningful work: Help individuals navigate challenging situations and move forward

Supportive environment: Work alongside experienced attorneys and an established support team

What You'll Do

Represent clients in DUI, misdemeanor, and lower-level felony matters throughout Maricopa County.

Manage cases from initial review through resolution, including court appearances, plea negotiations, motions, and client communication.

Review and oversee criminal record relief matters, including set-asides and record sealing, with administrative and paralegal support.

Who We're Looking For

We're especially interested in attorneys early in their careers who have a genuine interest in criminal defense and client advocacy.

Qualifications:

Active Arizona Bar license in good standing

Some hands-on criminal defense experience, including public defense, criminal defense practice, or substantial clinical experience

Confidence appearing in court and communicating with clients

Strong organizational, negotiation, and case-management skills

Compassionate, professional approach to client representation

Recent law school graduates who are already licensed and have relevant criminal defense experience are encouraged to apply.
