Responsibilities:
* Represent clients facing criminal charges in New Jersey.
* Negotiate with prosecutors to secure the best possible outcomes.
* Develop tailored case strategies that address each client's unique circumstances.
* Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze statutes to build strong defenses.
* Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, settlements, and other legal documents.
* Manage a varied caseload with efficiency, ensuring deadlines are met and client communication remains a top priority.
Qualifications:
* Must have a JD degree and hold an active NJ law license in good standing.
* Possess at least 1 year of experience in criminal defense.
* Strong skills in research, writing, and negotiation are essential.
* Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member.
* Demonstrate a client-first approach with high emotional intelligence.
