Job description
Criminal defense attorney with 8+ years of experience needed for the 15 th and 19th circuit offices of “RC4” -- The Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 4 th DCA Region of Florida. Positions are available in Palm Beach County, and across the 19 th Circuit covering Indian River, Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee Counties. RC4 is a state agency which provides criminal defense representation to the indigent in cases in which the public defender’s office has withdrawn due to a conflict of interest. RC4 is seeking candidates with a commitment to an assertive, client-centered representation model and to a proactive, pre-trial litigation approach to casework. Previous jury trial experience representing clients facing first degree felonies and higher is preferred. Additionally, candidates should possess an ability to excel in a team environment and to meet the demands of a serious crimes caseload. Full-time position with state benefits. Salary TBD based upon candidate’s experience and within the framework of the RC4’s existing pay scale. Please include cover letter & resume when applying.
