Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Experience: - 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. - 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience. - 3 months of travel experience is required. - Experience with Cerner is preferred. - BSN completion preferred. Requirements: - Candidates must have a District of Columbia license (required for submission). - This role will require floating to multiple units - Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local. - Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted. - Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted. - Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process. Additional Details: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: 1 previous travel assignment required. Must be strictly accountable for alarm management. Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Required Credentials: You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (See JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure. Unit Details: Overflow ICU float pool caring for general SICU, MICU overflow, Neuro ICU overflow, vascular overflow, trauma overflow, and thoracic overflow patients. Procedures/care include EGD, Bronch, Swann, and traction. Shift & Scheduling: A/P rotating with day shifts 07:00 - 19:30 and night shifts 19:00 - 07:30. Every other weekend. Holidays as needed. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
