Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
Travel experience is preferred.
Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
IV start.
Telemetry.
Ventilator management experience.
Teaching hospital experience is required.
Required Credentials:
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests:
All contracts must extend through January 2, 2027.
Unit Details:
Adult patient population.
Kidney, liver, lung, and heart transplant population.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
Float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, and CVICU.
Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
May float throughout the OSU organization if there is no need in Critical Care.
14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
