Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
1 year in a Level 1 ICU preferred; otherwise, 2 years of MICU experience preferred.
A nurse with only 1 year of experience who was a new graduate may be too new for this unit.
Unit Details:
The medical ICU is licensed for neuro critical care patients and is split between 2 floors.
Cases include sepsis, ESRD and AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac-arrest care, and respiratory failure.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week may be accommodated.
Floating Requirements:
Will float to Medical HVCC, SICU and IMC.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
