Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 2 years of recent ED and/or ICU nursing experience. Basic dysrhythmia interpretation/EKG competency required.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends and holidays. During the assignment, personnel are considered part of the unit and will be included in the rotation pool of staff who are required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit.
Floating Requirements: Floats between ICU, Intermediate unit, and MS (5 to 1 ratio) as needed; patient ratios vary for the different units and can be discussed at the time of interview.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
