Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 24 months (2 years).
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with multisystem disease, CRRT, IABP, ECMO, COVID, ventilators, and multiple drips is required. Large (500+ bed count) teaching facility experience is required.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. Reliable transportation is required because public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November–April.
Unit Details: Primarily based in the Medical ICU, with neuro overflow. Daily responsibilities include starting IVs, maintaining and managing multiple titrating drips, and providing critical ventilator care. Typical patient population includes post-cardiac surgery, vascular, Level I trauma, general surgery, neurosurgery, and overflow MICU patients.
Shift & Scheduling: Must be flexible with the schedule, including a minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjustments to meet unit and patient care needs. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day. Schedule may include any day from Monday through Sunday.
Floating Requirements: Travelers float first within the central pool ICU and will float outside the candidate’s POD to units of like skill and ability, including ED boarders and possible surge areas. Required float units include SICU, Miller 3, and Miller 4.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
