Job description

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 24 months (2 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience with 12 months within the last 24 months (2 years).
• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Special Requests: Travel pairs are not accepted.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift options include 7am to 7:30 pm or 7pm to 7:30 am. 75% weekends required. No call.
Unit Details: Cares for basic ICU patients in each department, including sedated, intubated patients and patients on pressors; high-complexity patients such as CRRT are not included.
Floating Requirements: Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on HCP experience. Float to any IMC at the organization, with patient ratios of 1:3 in IMC.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
