Job description
A leading academic medical center is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its Surgical Critical Care team in Hartford, Connecticut. This full-time, permanent night position offers the opportunity to care for complex surgical and trauma patients alongside a highly collaborative multidisciplinary ICU team.
Position Highlights:
Full-time, nights
Inpatient Surgical Critical Care
Join a multidisciplinary ICU team
Care for complex surgical and trauma patients
Patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, general surgery, neurosurgery and interventional radiology
No call
EPIC EMR

Qualifications:
Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility for licensure
1 2 years of recent critical care experience in an ICU setting
Ability to independently manage ICU patients
Proficiency with ventilator management and resuscitation
Critical care procedure experience within APP scope of practice
Comfortable working independently on the night shift
