Job description
An established critical care team just east of Hartford, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in an inpatient critical care setting.
Position Highlights:
Full-time, night shift position
Inpatient critical care setting
Collaborate with a strong team of Critical Care Intensivists
Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients
Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic conditions
Perform procedures and order and interpret diagnostic testing
Communicate with patients and families regarding conditions and treatment plans
Collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary care teams
Practice with the support of a dedicated Office of Advanced Practice
EPIC electronic medical record
Mentorship and orientation programs for newly hired providers
Compensation & Benefits:
Up to $30K in shift differentials on top of base pay

Qualifications:
Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
1+ year of critical care experience as an advanced practice provider
Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility for licensure
