Required Credentials Nurse Practitioner: Acute Care Adult Certification - REQUIREDPhysician Assistant: Board Certified or meets Texas standard to practice - REQUIREDTexas License - REQUIREDBoard Eligible: YesATLS - REQUIRED Experience Inpatient consultation coverage for general surgery and level III trauma adult patient populationsNP or PA (PA preferred, but NP acceptable)No FA duties required Patient Volume & Responsibilities Variable volume: consultations, follow-ups, pre/post-operative consults, rounding with physiciansAPP performs dischargesBasic bedside procedures only (dressing changes, drain management)No OR procedures required Schedule & Coverage Weekend day coverage only: Saturday and SundayAll weekends per monthPossible ongoing coverage past June Practice Environment Inpatient, Acute Care - Surgical SpecialtiesEMR: eClinicalWorks (EcW)Support Staff: NursingSupervising Physicians: Several physicians, trauma call schedule covered by 7 providers Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
