APP Nocturnist Intensivist Needed State College, Pennsylvania Critical Care / ICU Locums ASAP Start
WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking an APP Nocturnist Intensivist for an ongoing locums opportunity in Pennsylvania. This is a night-only ICU position offering 12-hour shifts in a 10-bed ICU with physician backup available by phone.
Assignment Highlights Start: ASAP
Schedule: Nights only
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
12-hour shifts
Coverage may be split between multiple providers
Temporary privileges available
10-bed ICU
Average patient volume: 4 6 patients per shift
Physician available by phone from 7:00 PM 7:00 AM and will come in for backup if needed
EMR: Epic
Clinical Responsibilities Providers must be comfortable performing required critical care procedures, including:
Arterial puncture
Central and other line placement
Tube placement
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Chest tube placement
Case logs from the past 2 years are required to demonstrate recent procedural experience.
Requirements Active Pennsylvania license
IMLC candidates will not be considered
BLS
ACLS
ATLS
Demonstrated recent experience with required ICU procedures
Case logs from the last 2 years required
Must be comfortable providing independent overnight ICU coverage with physician backup available by phone
