Locum Pediatric Congenital Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant Needed in Tampa, FL!
Escape the cold this winter and practice in sunny Tampa, Florida for at least 6-month all the way through winter time
This is an excellent locum opportunity to spend the winter on Florida's Gulf Coast while working with a nationally recognized pediatric cardiac surgery team. Enjoy warm weather, beautiful beaches, and a vibrant waterfront community-all while making an impact at a premier children's hospital.
Position Highlights
Location: Tampa, FL
Specialty: Pediatric & Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (Full Scope care)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Call: 1:2 call rotation with approximately
Position Details
Join an experienced Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery team providing comprehensive care both in and out of the operating room. The APP will collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, manage pediatric cardiac surgery patients across multiple care settings-including the ICU-and serve as a key patient advocate by coordinating care between patients, families, and physicians.
Requirements
Board Certified APRN or PA-C
Active ACLS and PALS certifications
Minimum of 3 years of post-training pediatric cardiac surgery experience
Experience caring for pediatric cardiac surgery patients, including ICU management
Florida license preferred, but candidates requiring licensure will be considered (current turnaround approximately 5 weeks)
