Critical Care Intensivist Opportunity
ICC Healthcare (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join the Trident Health System in Charleston, South Carolina.
Qualified Candidates:
Critical Care Board certified or eligible - most critical care specialties will be considered
Active South Carolina Licensure or ability to obtain
Ability to work Full Time
Available 2026
Schedule Structure, 15 shifts per month:
Core coverage at primary facility (Trident Medical Center)
12-hour shifts across both days and nights
Shared campus coverage supporting affiliated campus (Summerville Medical Center)
ICU rounding and clinical support of the 24/7 APP. 2-3 hours of on site at Summerville and night on-call responsibilities on assigned coverage days approximately 5 shifts per month
Trident Medical Center: 28 bed Med/Surg, CVICU, and Trauma ICU
2 MDs during the day, 1 MD and 1 APP at night
Summerville Medical Center: 12 bed Medical ICU
24/7 APP coverage in house
MD coverage during the day and night call from home
Clinical teaching opportunity with Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine residents
