This large inpatient hospital maintains established critical care protocols and the clinical resources necessary to support ICU-level services on an on-site basis. The facility operates with structured night shift coverage to ensure continuity of care for critically ill patients. Locum tenens Nurse Practitioner coverage is sought beginning December on an ongoing basis.

About the Clinician's Workday
Clinicians will provide critical care coverage during 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM at an inpatient facility on an on-site basis, with no call responsibilities associated with this assignment. Responsibilities include intensive monitoring and management of critically ill patients, along with performance of standard ICU-level procedures throughout each assigned shift. Clinical documentation is conducted through the EPIC EMR system. An average patient volume of 20 patients per day is expected.
