Bring Better to the Bedside as an Intensivist in Petersburg, Virginia at Bon Secours Southside Medical Center

Local Team Collaboration:
We take pride in our well-established team at Bon Secours Southside Medical Center
Work alongside an experienced team of board-certified Critical Care physicians and experienced Critical Care APPs to care for the sickest patients
Qualifications:
Board-certified/eligible in critical care medicine
Successful completion of a critical care medicine fellowship in the United States
Authorized to work in the United States
Scheduling:
12-hour day shifts with rotating back-up call to experienced nocturnist APP
Average of 15 shifts per month as part of the intensivist team using a modified block schedule
No nights
Key Responsibilities:
Your focus will be on patients in the 28-bed ICU (medical/surgical/cardiac)
You will lead daily multi-disciplinary rounds as part of the larger Critical Care team
We work in EPIC, with access to our own internal informatics platform
