Job description
MetroHealth is hiring for a Critical Care Step Down RN to join the 7 West Cardiac Hospitalist Unit. You will work 12-hour shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays, in a 24-bed CCSD setting using enhanced technology including telemetry, lifts, and hands-free communication.
Primary patient populations include CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. The role emphasizes ICU-level bedside care, EKG interpretation, central line care, and emergency airway/ventilation support, with a patient-nurse ratio of 5:1.
