Aequor Healthcare is actively seeking an experienced Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for an exciting inpatient locums opportunity . If you're looking for a high-acuity ICU assignment with a quick credentialing process, we'd love to speak with you!
Position Details Specialty: Critical Care APP
Setting: Inpatient ICU
Responsibilities: Inpatient rounding and critical care management
EMR: EPIC
Dictation: Dragon
Credentialing: Approximately 30 days
Required Procedures & Experience Candidates must be experienced and credentialed to perform:
Moderate Sedation
Lumbar Puncture
Endotracheal Intubation & Extubation
Ventilator Management, including respiratory weaning, oxygen therapy, and extubation
Assessment for Intubation
Paracentesis & Thoracentesis
Chest Tube Insertion
PICC Line, Arterial Line, and Central Venous Line Placement
Arterial Line Insertion & Removal (Radial/Femoral)
Tracheostomy Care & Tube Changes
Management of Tension Pneumothorax
External Pacing (Epicardial, Transvenous, & Transcutaneous)
Note: Providers must have documentation of at least 5 proctored cases for each procedure listed above.
